Pr Ousmane SALL

Vice-Rector for Research and Cooperation at Cheikh Hamidou Kane Digital University (UN-CHK), he is a CAMES full professor of computer science and semantic web. A lecturer and researcher at Iba Der Thiam University from 2007 to 2021, then at Cheikh Hamidou Kane Digital University from 2022 onwards, he has held several management and leadership positions, including Director of the Innovation and Expertise Center for Development at UN-CHK, Acting Director and Scientific Secretary of the Doctoral School of Sustainable Development and Society at the University of Thiès, and Deputy Director of the UFR SET. Scientific Director of several master’s and doctoral programs, he is also an active member of several academic committees and a quality assurance expert for ANAQ-Sup. With seventeen years of experience in higher education, his research focuses on topics such as data integration, knowledge engineering, ontologies, fact checking, information personalization, and AI for decision support. He has supervised three doctoral theses and more than fifty master’s theses, and published nearly fifty articles in international journals.
